Welcome to Burnside Farms

Burnside Farms is set in the beautiful rolling hills of Erin Ontario; conveniently located 20 minutes East of Guelph and 20 minutes North of Milton. Burnside Farms has been in the Bruce family for 4 generations. This venue offers a combination of rustic romance, providing guests with a unique wedding experience.

The barn construction dates back to the late 1800’s, still standing with the original hand hewn logs. At sunset, the sunlight streams through the barn boards, enhancing the rustic charm of this barn. This heritage barn is not heated or cooled. Our wedding venue operates June through September, and is used for agricultural purposes throughout the winter months.

Burnside Farms Rental

Burnside Farms offers the bride and groom use of the barn venue for their ceremony and/or reception. The bride and groom can set up as early as Thursday at 5 o'clock and clean up by Sunday at noon.

This rustic space includes the use of 6 vintage wine barrels, wooden crates, wooden signs, Edison bulb lighting, and a custom made barn board head table.

Along with the barn venue, a cocktail hour tent, carriage house, and portable washroom facilities are available to rent.

The barn withstands a maximum capacity of 150 guests.

Additional Rentals

Our venue is considered a “blank slate.” It is the responsibility of the bride and groom to book their own catering, beverage services, music, photography, and decor rentals. Burnside Farms can provide the bride and groom with a variety of recommendations for food, beverage, music, floral, and accommodation services that are available in the Erin area.
